The integrity of his work arises from the synergies generated by the Humanities-Fine Arts pairing. She understands collage as a discursive and disruptive medium, through which the artist builds new units of meaning derived from a thoughtful selection, decontextualization and re-contextualization of materials inherent to our visual culture. The engine that drives his work lies in the desire to share the discursive wealth extracted from readings about everything that is exciting for him. Thus, each project he carries out embraces new lines of research linked, increasingly, to issues related to the human species and committed to nature and the world that surrounds us. The plastic language to which he resorts interweaves original graphic material, of disparate origin and chronology, with other materials capable of establishing an organic dialogue loaded with formal intention, generating symbolic loci that appeal to the viewer's imagination to take him to a time and space that lies on the fine line that separates reality from its possible alternatives.
